This Republican has made an incredible observation over the past few days.  Senator Obama makes even the Clintons look good.  Frequent readers know I am no Clinton fan.  I believe with all my heart Hillary deserved the Democratic presidential nomination.  Keep in mind this is coming from someone who despises most everything the Clintons have stood for.

While listening to the O’Reilly Radio Factor this week, I came to realize patriotism will decide who wins this election.  Patriotism is a critical qualification one running for President must posess.  I may not agree with anything Hillary stands for politically, but when it comes to the love for her country, I cannot question that.  I firmly believe right or wrong, Hillary loves the United States of America, and wanted to make changes she believed would benefit the entire country.  I personally do not believe the propositions she made would move us in the right direction, but I would never question her intentions.

Obama promises to make change.  Only in the past few days has he declared a love for this country.  Mr. Obama, it’s gonna be awful hard to “change” a country you do not believe in.  What does this mean?  Well, it can only mean one thing….we could cease to exist as a country.  Our very own cultural diversity and religious “freedoms” are driving us into the very thing our forefathers struggled to alienate themselves from.

Consider this:  Patriotism is that love for country in the hearts of the people which shall make that country strong to resist foreign opposition and domestic intrigue-which impresses each and every individual with a sense of the inalienable rights of others and prepares him to accept the responsibility of protecting those rights.    -American Tribune, March 7, 1890

The above passage was found in the A Beka Book/American Government pg. 12

In a statement made by Barack Obama today, he claims his wife Michelle is not subject to any ridicule by the press.  Bill O’Reilly softens up on Obama saying that any personal attacks by the media are completely uncalled for.  Afterwards, O’Reilly was careful to point out the fact, if you don’t want your wife under ridicule, quit sending her out to be on these talkshows. (In reference to her appearance on The View this week)

Bill, you need to quit being so soft on Obama’s political tactics.  He completely made this statement to cover any future flubs Michelle makes when she opens up her big mouth to tell everyone how proud she finally is of her country.  Please see my previous post in regard to Obama sticking his wife out on the front line, then telling everyone in the press to lay off of her.  Such an ugly game, these politics….we’ve only just begun.

Citizens United president claims Hillary best choice NOT Obama June 12, 2008

While making an appearance on The O’Reilly factor, David N. Bossie,  president of Citizens United, endorsed Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama stating that “On a national security basis she is the best candidate.”  The group Citizens United, has put out documentaries on both Obama and Hillary.  Hillary’s documentary has already been released and Obama’s is scheduled to be released this summer.

Bossie fought against the Clintons in the 90’s when he served as chief investigator for the United States House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and Oversight.  During Bill Clinton’s two terms as president, he led investigations ranging from the Whitewater land deal to the illegal transfer of dual-use technology to China and the illegal foreign money schemes in the 1996 Clinton re-election campaign.  He stated on the O’Reilly factor that he definitely is not a Clinton fan, but based on experience and the best interest of this country, Hillary would have by far been the best candidate for the Democratic party.

Coming from Bossie, this is a profound statement.  We need to wake up and realize that our country is gonna get a huge awakening.  Let’s make the “changes” we can, before it’s too late.  Fellow blogger The Virginian, has a great take on this.

Bill O’Reilly says it best:

“People aren’t paying attention. They’re “Dancing With the Stars,” they’re doing the mambo, they’re singing. You know, they’re mad but they’re not paying attention.”

— Bill O’Reilly
