This Republican has made an incredible observation over the past few days. Senator Obama makes even the Clintons look good. Frequent readers know I am no Clinton fan. I believe with all my heart Hillary deserved the Democratic presidential nomination. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who despises most everything the Clintons have stood for.
While listening to the O’Reilly Radio Factor this week, I came to realize patriotism will decide who wins this election. Patriotism is a critical qualification one running for President must posess. I may not agree with anything Hillary stands for politically, but when it comes to the love for her country, I cannot question that. I firmly believe right or wrong, Hillary loves the United States of America, and wanted to make changes she believed would benefit the entire country. I personally do not believe the propositions she made would move us in the right direction, but I would never question her intentions.
Obama promises to make change. Only in the past few days has he declared a love for this country. Mr. Obama, it’s gonna be awful hard to “change” a country you do not believe in. What does this mean? Well, it can only mean one thing….we could cease to exist as a country. Our very own cultural diversity and religious “freedoms” are driving us into the very thing our forefathers struggled to alienate themselves from.
Consider this: Patriotism is that love for country in the hearts of the people which shall make that country strong to resist foreign opposition and domestic intrigue-which impresses each and every individual with a sense of the inalienable rights of others and prepares him to accept the responsibility of protecting those rights. -American Tribune, March 7, 1890

Obama says family not subject to ridicule June 19, 2008

In a statement made by Barack Obama today, he claims his wife Michelle is not subject to any ridicule by the press. Bill O’Reilly softens up on Obama saying that any personal attacks by the media are completely uncalled for. Afterwards, O’Reilly was careful to point out the fact, if you don’t want your wife under ridicule, quit sending her out to be on these talkshows. (In reference to her appearance on The View this week)
Bill, you need to quit being so soft on Obama’s political tactics. He completely made this statement to cover any future flubs Michelle makes when she opens up her big mouth to tell everyone how proud she finally is of her country. Please see my previous post in regard to Obama sticking his wife out on the front line, then telling everyone in the press to lay off of her. Such an ugly game, these politics….we’ve only just begun.
Citizens United president claims Hillary best choice NOT Obama June 12, 2008

While making an appearance on The O’Reilly factor, David N. Bossie, president of Citizens United, endorsed Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama stating that “On a national security basis she is the best candidate.” The group Citizens United, has put out documentaries on both Obama and Hillary. Hillary’s documentary has already been released and Obama’s is scheduled to be released this summer.
Bossie fought against the Clintons in the 90’s when he served as chief investigator for the United States House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and Oversight. During Bill Clinton’s two terms as president, he led investigations ranging from the Whitewater land deal to the illegal transfer of dual-use technology to China and the illegal foreign money schemes in the 1996 Clinton re-election campaign. He stated on the O’Reilly factor that he definitely is not a Clinton fan, but based on experience and the best interest of this country, Hillary would have by far been the best candidate for the Democratic party.
Coming from Bossie, this is a profound statement. We need to wake up and realize that our country is gonna get a huge awakening. Let’s make the “changes” we can, before it’s too late. Fellow blogger The Virginian, has a great take on this.
Bill O’Reilly says it best:
“People aren’t paying attention. They’re “Dancing With the Stars,” they’re doing the mambo, they’re singing. You know, they’re mad but they’re not paying attention.”
— Bill O’Reilly
Anti-War Activist with Sadaam Hussein ties endorses Obama June 10, 2008

WOW, yep you read that right….George Galloway, British anti-war activist endorses Barack Obama for President of the United States. Now, please tell me why would we want to elect someone whom the terrorists approve of? That is so crazy, it makes my head want to explode! George Galloway has known ties to Sadaam Hussein and is a strong supporter of a Palestinian state. This video shows him on Hamas television endorsing Obama.
Going back to my earlier post, where I pointed out several questionable supporters of Obama. Remember “Be careful of the company you keep”? Well, obvioiusly that doesn’t matter anymore. We want change, that’s right, I forgot. Change……next thing you know we’ll be fighting the terrorists on our own soil. They’ll all be living and thriving here if Obama gets elected. After all, this seems to be his #1 special interest group. I’m looking forward to having a President that will appease terrorists, and ignore Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East. Where have we gone wrong? People are treating Mr. Obama as if he were a rock star and not the next possible leader of the free world. What is our country coming to?
Obama misspeaks, yet again? May 29, 2008

Barack Obama is getting into a bad habit here lately. Seems that he can’t quite remember that WWII story just right…hmmm. While speaking to a group of veterans on Memorial Day, Obama claimed to have an Uncle who was involved with the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp during WWII. That’s interesting, considering his mother was an only child. As if that weren’t already enough, it just so happens the Russians were responsible for liberating Auschwitz, not the Americans! The Viriginian reminds us of a similar mix up in 2002. In this particular speech, Obama relates his grandfather to WWII and the liberation of the same concentration camp.
Mr. Obama, guess you struck out again. Wonder how much longer that campaign of yours can keep making up excuses for those drastic exaggerations?

“Be careful of the company you keep”, my mother always told me. Well, Mr. Obama seems to keep getting himself into hot water with this issue. As if Rev. Jeremiah Wright wasn’t enough, another bad boy has surfaced. Rashid Khalidi, Palestinian, and professor of Arab studies at Columbia University is known for his radical views. Rezko Watch has some great information about Khalidi’s relationship with Mr. Obama.
Obama stresses no “guilt by association” in this case, but hasn’t this been the case so many times before? Senator Obama has also been highly criticized for his dealings with William Ayers, a former member of the violent radical group Weather Underground. I personally believe this is only the beginning for Barack Obama. We will continue to see these controversial associations surface, as does Obama 2.0 blogger. I strongly urge voters to look at all sides of this election. Please do not be mesmerized by good looks or promises for change. These are just surface issues and I feel we need to look deeper into the situation before making a decision.
So many people pick a candidate on a whim. This election process is so much more important than that. Please take your right to vote seriously. Your Forefather’s bled and died to give you this great country. It is our responsibility to take the best care of it we can. This includes as top priority, electing the best candidate we can, who lives and breathes to serve this country. Who respects our flag, which is so sacred. It is up to all of us to decide, the future lies in our hands.
Clinton likely to give Obama a run for his money May 20, 2008

This is for Barack Obama…..If you want people to leave your wife alone, quit sending her out to campaign for you. What do you expect is gonna happen if you put her out on the front line. And as for us Kentuckians, it doesn’t matter where we get our news from. We know your intentions, and you don’t have to say a word. I hope Hillary gives you a run for your money. This Republican is fed up! And Kentucky’s vote does count, and so should those of Michigan and Florida.
See the video of Obama’s comments to a Kentucky newspaper.
